It was a pity that Kees Thijssen could not materialise his very good positions against Huseynov, Getmanski and Nasevich. On the other hand, he did not lose from Georgiev and -again- Nasevich. He ended as the sixth player of the world, so Kees can be satisfied. The other two Dutch players ended 3rd and 4th, so the World Championship can be seen as a good result for the Netherlands. |
