Mamutu Mariko: Second day was lucky for me

Second day was lucky for draughts player from Mali Mamutu Mariko. He won his opponent from Cameroon Mbongo. By the way it was the fastest victory in the second round. Mamutu commented his game as follows:

- During the first day I was very tired and lost the game to Artem Ivanov from Ukraine. But the second day was lucky for me, I had a rest and won the game.

Mamutu Mariko was qualified for World Draughts Championship on the basis of the results of the Championship of Africa in 2012 where he took the 4th place. Mamutu Mariko is 22 years old. Draughts is a hobby for him. Mamutu studies in the University of Mali and learns foreign languages. Among the present day draughts players he especially marks Alexander Georgiev, Alexey Chizhov and Rul Bumstra.
